THE OLD WAY OF SELLING IS DEAD.

It died with the cold call, the rotary phone and the pushy salesperson.  It died when salespeople across the nation thought that they could manipulate and pressure prospects into buying. It died when salespeople thought that email, texting, Facebook or Instagram were just fads.   It passed quietly in the night when salespeople decided to use mind-numbing sales jargon instead of talking to like a real person.  

Make no mistake these salespeople will be replaced.  But, leaders who understand this will be rewarded.  

The new standard of sales understands that in order to separate from the crowd, personality and authenticity are paramount.  The new standard of sales incorporates social media, email, and the telephone to standout from the average salesperson.  The new standard of sales focuses on attitude and mindset since this has always been and will continue to be the secret to selling.

THE BOOK

Sales doesn't have to be difficult, impersonal, slimy or complicated. It's actually very simple when you boil it down. There are standards, new standards, that will help you succeed. I wholeheartedly believe in you and your future, and that's why I wrote this book. Just do the hard work that most people don't want to do, live up to higher standards and the sky's the limit.

ABOUT MARK EVANS, FOUNDER

Hi.  I’m Mark Evans... and I’m a real guy, not a sales guru.  

I've been selling since I was a 13 year old hawking scratch pads and paper for my parents small town print shop.  I went to college, got married to an amazing woman, started a little family and got my first real sales job (yippee, I’m all grown up)!

Now, this is the part in the story where most "gurus" tell you that they crushed it and started making trillions of dollars... but that’s not my story.  

To be honest, I struggled in the beginning. I wasted time and felt lost. I was the classic case of a green salesperson that didn’t know what I didn’t know, and I didn’t know where to even begin!  I thought that if I could just get to someone who’s already been successful at this selling thing, I could learn from them and do well. 

It all changed when one day I went to work for a man who completely changed my entire notion of selling.  I didn’t have to become someone I wasn’t, or pressure people in to buying with fancy techniques!  This man changed my attitude towards sales and success.  And most importantly, gave me a clear and easy path to follow in almost any sales situation.

I quickly went from making enough for a case of beer on my commission check to earning six figures within eight months.  I’ve been fortuate to earn six figures in selling and sales management since I was 25.  I don’t do this to brag, I do this because if I can do it, anyone can. 

I’ve taken what I've learned from mentors along the way, and I help some of the fastest growing entrepreneurial led organizations in training their sales staff to get more consistent sales results.  I help sales teams set a new standard and hold them accountable to that standard.
